Queen Bee's is a beautiful and spacious, family owned banquet center located in downtown Paynesville, MN. We have great food, created by our very own Le Cordon Bleu Chef, Trisha Wendlandt. All meals are served with potatoes, vegetables, gravy, dinner rolls, butter and coleslaw. Prices will also include milk and coffee.

If you would like a late evening snack, we do offer sandwiches and appetizers for your guests. Ask your event coordinator for prices.

 

Planning Your Wedding

Let Queen Bee's Bar and Grill help you plan all the details of your wedding reception. Our experienced and professional staff will make your wedding reception one to remember. Here is a list of things we offer and details.

• The Banquet Area seats up to 350 people with a head table for up to 18 people with staging.
• The Back Pool Area seats up to 100 people.
• We offer buffet style or plated services.
• We offer a complete bar service, host or cash bar available.
• All guests will be served with china, and silverware.
• Linen tablecloths are included for the head table, gift table, and cake table. All others are lined with a firm paper cloth, and table skirting included in price.
• Cake cutting service included in your wedding package.
• We have installed a large door for more of a private wedding, and will bring in a private port bar for your own use.
• When you figure out your final costs, please take into consideration the 6.5%sales tax on food sales, 9% sales tax on alcohol and 15% service charge on your bill.
• We allow you to do your own decorating or use a professional service. No confetti or crepe paper may be used. If you use these items, there will be a $200.00 charge for cleaning. No duct tape to be used on dance floor. Our facility will be open at 9am on your contracted date for decorating, unless previously arranged. All decorations must be removed by 2am on your contracted date unless other arranged have been made.
• We allow you to have a live band or a disc jockey for your events.
• We offer discounted Friday night weddings, book your wedding and we take 10% off of your food bill.
• We offer free shuttling to and from local hotel and resorts.
• With about one month to go, we will be calling you to update any last minute changes, and number of guests. Please feel free to call at any time with concerns or questions.
• You are not allowed to bring punch into the facility, do to the health codes, we would be happy to make your punch if you so desire.
